Oh cups! As many of our visitors know, we recycle so much of our waste via different schemes through TPRS (Tendring Primary Recycle Scheme). From food gloves, egg shells, coffee grounds and cans through to cardboard, jam jars and crisp packets to name a few! We are trying to also reduce things even more with what goes to waste as well! Did you know, you can bring your own thermos cups for us to use instead of our 16oz cups/lids, for us to pour your tea/coffee/hot chocolate into? The same amount of coffee from our machine, just cheaper as an incentive! Bring your own cup and save £ too! Save 50p per hot drink of your choosing. There’s no limit to the amount you use per order too!

Remember, there’s set menus and EVERY menu has the ability to mix and match! So anything is possible and your menu is as unique as you! ✨ All dietaries are catered for! And dessert won’t just be a fruit salad for a vegan alternative! ✨ When enquiring, details help! Venue, date, estimated numbers, all the requirements you’d need from us (bar hire, linen and crockery thoughts). This all helps to give you everything and a realistic quotation first time round! ✨ There’s no limit to the amount of quotes you can have! I’ve been known to send 6/7 before! ✨ The deposit secures the date, not the menu! I’ve had people change elements or even their whole menu in the lead up to their wedding! So don’t worry if your tastes change and you fancy different dishes on the menu! A very lovely Saturday for the team today. On Wednesday I had an SOS phonecall for a last minute event, as they had been let down by their caterer. We catered for four generations, celebrating one special lady’s 90th birthday celebrations! There’s something for everyone today! Model, mini and massive (normal sized engine 😂) locos all in action at East Anglian Railway Museum today. Tickets available at the door or book online. We are open at the cafe with all the normal freshly made treats on the menu plus have our goods shed outlet open too! Regrettably no reservations possible for tables due to the demand and previous experience has meant people don’t adhere to reserved signs so it’s first come first served for our cafe customers. There is plenty of additional seating around the site as well as picnic benches on the meadow area too. Make the most of the last of the summer… in October ☺️😂

With dessert we tend to steer towards offering a trio so guests don’t have to make that incredibly hard decision as to which dessert to opt for! But you don’t have to listen to me, it’s your menu 😍❤️ Our 2024 diary is close to capacity for prime dates in the height of season so drop us a message to start your catering journey, sooner rather than later!
